Each workshop is $30.00. Advanced tickets are available via PayPal on the tickets page. You can also purchase tickets in person at the 40th Anniversary Gala on May 24, or at the competition on May 25.

Seamless Transitions
This is a unique workshop that borrows principles and techniques from Modern, ballet, lyrical, belly dance and yoga to help every level of dancer polish and bridge movements together seamlessly. During the course of this workshop we will not only review various techniques and principles, but we will also flow through fluid combinations that you can incorporate into your belly dance repertoire.

Dum Dum Lock! Techniques & Concepts For the Drum Solo
This workshop will explore how to incorporate elements of lyrical dance movement to build unique combos that range from clean to complicated, sassy to dramatic. We will also work on isolations, locks/levels/layers and a diverse collection of classical hip work to create an energetic and emotionally driven drum solo! We will start with a brief warm up, moving into across the floor progressions, then to center floor for layering and hip work, and finally putting it all together into “mini choreography” segments that will inspire your own creative flow. All levels are welcome. Please bring foot protection and be ready to MOVE with attitude!
